Salvage: I Was A Boy

A suite of 25 unique screenprints

on Stonehenge paper,

each print is 10” x 10”

I culled the imagery from a small sketchbook of ink drawings, intuitively drawn, while reflecting on spring’s awakening and the passage of time. I transferred them to the screen photographically.

The work was first shown as an installed suite at Open Studio gallery in Toronto, in 2002.  It was re-mounted for This is Me, This Is Also Me, a group exhibition curated by Dr. Sarah Brophy and Dr. Janice Hladki, that focused on self-representation and self-portraiture,

at McMaster Museum of Art in Hamilton, Ontario in 2014/2015.
